11 Jan Welcome Billie Gilliam, our new Clinical Director
We are excited to introduce our new Clinical Director, Billie Gilliam. Most recently Billie served as Program Manager of Adult Treatment Services at Northern Ohio Recovery Association, and previously served in a variety of roles at Hitchcock from 2006-2008. Billie, talking about her new position, shared: “To have the honor of the position of Clinical Director is an exciting venture for me as I re-embrace the “Where the Healing Begins” mantra. The Hitchcock Way – treating the WHOLE woman reminds us that we are our sisters’ keeper.”
Billie holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from John Carroll University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University. She is dually licensed as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervisor.
Billie’s experience, education, and grasp on the unique needs of women in treatment made her the ideal candidate for Clinical Director. “We will serve the women wholistically, empowering them to actualize, and realize the full person they were all along.”
